Resmi Jaimon is an international freelance writer working
from home in Kochi, Kerala ("God's Own Country"),
India. Resmi’s forte includes writing features, reporting
news & events on topics including real estate, travel,
food & cuisine, trade, technology, business, celebrity
interviews, human interest issues and lifestyle articles.
She has also edited newsletters for conferences, worked
as a ghostwriter for preparing content for corporate websites
and brochures and translated content from Malayalam to
English.

Resmi did her schooling from Arya Central School, Thiruvananthapuram,
Kerala from where she believes she got the base for her
career and with adequate support from her parents. She went
on to graduate in Computer Applications and multiple diplomas
in Software Engineering & Computer Applications (including
a 3-year course from Aptech Computer Education in Software
Engineering). Writing happened to her like a miracle when
she was a 23 year old and she hit off by selling her first
written article! Prior to that she wrote around 20 poems.

| Resmi lives with her husband, Jaimon in Kochi (Kerala
– “God’s Own Country”), India. Spiritually inclined, she
dabbles with spiritual writing for her own reading and occasionally
for others to read. Her other interests includes spending
time with her family, traveling, cooking, web & graphic
designing and trying to regain her long lost painting skills.

Resmi Jaimon is also involved in businesses – Rat Vanisher

and Mohanam (www.mohanampet.com),
run jointly by her parents and brother, Roop Shaji. Roop
Shaji, also an international freelance photographer assists
Resmi in capturing photos for some of her assignments. |
